Call for photos in the category “Cheerful Metallography“

As part of the 57th Metallography Meeting 2023 in Leoben, a prize in the category “Cheerful Metallography” will be awarded again in the old established tradition. All participants of the meeting are invited to submit high-quality, original and amusing metallographic images with a short explanation. These photo submissions will be evaluated by meeting attendees during the meeting and the most popular photo will receive a €500 prize at the social evening. Photos can be submitted until September 11, 2023 at the following address: metallographie-tagung2023@asmet.at.

By submitting the image for “Cheerful Metallography”, I authorise the organiser to use the image as the cover image for the 2024 edition of BHM and possibly other mailings at other metallography meetings.
